Do You Really Believe?
John 7:1-5
“After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the [a]Jews sought to kill Him. 2 Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing. 4 For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” 5 For even His brothers did not believe in Him.”
We must be very careful to examine our faith. We can be near Jesus but not really believe in Him as Messiah. Going to church doesn’t necessarily mean that we believe. Even trying to live a good life or giving money to worthy causes doesn’t mean that we believe.
To believe in Jesus is to have an intimate relationship with Him. To believe is to know that without Him you would be nothing.
Oh, that we truly believe and seek our Savior with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength.
